Experience your special wedding day and night in the fairy-tale atmosphere of Chateau Mcely. Become the Lady and Lord of the manor and Chateau Mcely will be yours alone. Waiting just for you are four ceremonial rooms (Gold Room, Plate Hall, Tea Hall, Theatre Hall), the Alchymist Club and wine cellar, chateau library, observation tower, sauna, outdoor patio with hot tub and an expansive, five-hectare English park.
Your wedding at Chateau Mcely will be magical in any season. You decide whether you want a royal winter wedding or summer romance, or to let yourself be enchanted by the patchwork splendor of nature in autumn and our English park bursting with thousands of shades of colour.
The White Agency (wedding partner of Chateau Mcely) and Chateau Mcely offer many ideas for your wedding – you choose the one that suits you best. Either book the entire chateau, or if you prefer a more cosy atmosphere with a smaller number of guests, we offer the possibility of an intimate ceremony and reception in only part of the chateau.
What will your beautiful wedding day look like? You could, for example, start with a glass of champagne in the chateau gardens to welcome your guests, after which they move to the wedding ceremony. This is followed by a celebratory toast, congratulations and photographs of the happy newlyweds in the gardens and the chateau’s interiors. In the early evening, you can invite the guests to a festive dinner accompanied by live piano. Following a delicious meal, it is time for the traditional cutting of the cake, and the evening is given over to dancing or another entertainment programme.
Your wedding should be a unique experience and we take the utmost care to ensure that you can enjoy it absolutely undisturbed. For this reason, the chateau always hosts only one wedding per weekend.
Sweeten your wedding experience by arriving a day early in order to settle into the beautiful surroundings, play croquet, try our “Honey, Pearls and Silk” wellness therapy and in the evening sit out on the chateau’s patio with a savoury barbecue.
You can end the day with a romantic walk in the English park or by stargazing from our observatory while enjoying
a glass of cognac or hot chocolate.
